EBiM Open Day — Shanghai
An afternoon at the EBiM Shanghai testbed during Phase II’s hands-on bench-testing window: talks on physical AI and embodied AI in healthcare, and a live visit to the Mobile FR3 Duo competition floor while teams are running. Hosted by Franka Robotics at their Shanghai office, where the testbed is installed.
What this day is
The EBiM Benchmark is a globally coordinated benchmark for real-world embodied bimanual manipulation, with cross-continent real-robot validation at partner labs in Hamburg, Munich, Pittsburgh, and Shanghai. The Shanghai Open Day opens the Shanghai site for an afternoon — the platform, the evaluation setup, and the teams competing on it. The site is hosted by Franka Robotics, whose FR3 arms the competition platform is built on, so the visit goes straight from the talks to the robots without leaving the building.
This event is by invitation. Invitations will be sent to the team leaders of teams advancing to Phase II, following the Phase I results on 15 August 2026, and to EBiM partners, sponsors, and accredited local press. There is no public registration form, and we cannot admit guests who are not on the invitation list.
This is not the EBiM Phase III workshop. The workshop — invited talks, panel, posters, and the awards ceremony — is a separate event; its date and venue are still to be announced.
